We are looking for a motivated, self-starting volunteer to join the donations sorting team, but to specifically take care of the toys section. This role involves sorting, packaging, and pricing toys as they come into the Blue Door and then arranging them in the store. Some tidying of the toy section will also be appreciated.
Morning or afternoon. Preferably Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Friday.
Volunteering at The Blue Door is a great way to gain work experience, meet new people, and learn new skills.
Full training will be provided. Once a health and safety induction and role-specific training has been completed, you will need to be able to work independently.
A criminal record check will be required Long-term (one year or more),Medium (longer than 6 weeks)
Self-starting, self-motivating, able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to sort items into appropriate spaces.
✅ Volunteers will need to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 for this role.
YOU choose whether you do a morning or afternoon shift.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Friday.
