We have 11 very special horses and ponies, who are an integral part of our equine therapy programmes that we offer to people in our community who live with disabilities or challenges in their every day lives. We pride ourselves on our horse care and our horse team mates welfare. This includes that we keep their paddocks free of manure and therefore we collect on a daily basis. We do bag the manure up and sell to locals for their gardening needs, so this is a great ongoing fundrasier for us.
Although maybe not a glamorous job, it is actually really rewarding, it is out in nature, caring for animals and knowing that you would be helping us to have happy, well cared horses that do a very unique job.
Maybe consider taking a day off at the gym and spend a couple of hours still getting some good exercise in the outdoors. We do have a farm vehicle, so you are not expected to walk around the paddocks with a wheelbarrow.
Physically fit. You would work with another person, so if you are not experienced with horses we will ensure you are trained and safe.
Approx 2 hours - starting at 8am
