The Salvation Army Family Store is looking for a friendly and reliable volunteer to help keep the store clean, tidy, and welcoming for everyone.
This role involves a couple of hours of cleaning support, including tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and general tidying. A clean and tidy store creates a better experience for customers, staff, and volunteers, and helps the store continue its important work in the community. It's a practical, hands-on way to make a real difference and support the smooth running of a much-loved community op-shop. Your support behind the scenes will make a visible difference.
Vacuuming floors
Dusting shelves and surfaces
General tidying/cleaning tasks
Helping keep the store environment neat and welcoming
We are looking for:
Someone reliable and happy to help
Comfortable doing light cleaning tasks
Able to work independently
Takes pride in keeping spaces clean and tidy
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
Approximately 2 hours once or twice a week (days/times to be arranged)
