The Marlborough Special Olympics 10 Pin Bowling team has grown too much. We now have 25 enthusiastic bowlers who turn up every every Saturday morning to train and play. Many of the team have just returned from the 4 yearly National Games with an array of medals and great determination to do even better at the next games. The team has great support with 2 Team Managers and other regular supporters but we need some more helpers to spread the load/love. We welcome anyone with energy, enthusiasm and compassion on this role. This does not need to be every week, ideally we could share with a team of helpers.
Some bowling experience would be helpful (but not essential) energy, patience and empathy, a good sense of humour and a willingness to have fun.
Ideally we would like to have several people who could share support roles. The team meets and trains on Saturday morning from 9:30 - 11:30am. With 2 or more coaches/supporters the time commitment could be every second Saturday morning (or less).
