This is not a sales role – you’ll be making courtesy calls to various organisations, such as libraries, companies, and social assistance groups, to see if they would like brochures or information about our services for their clients, customers and employees. Your calls will help educate about our free reading, writing, and numeracy support, thus offering options for them and improving their lives and communities.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Make courtesy calls to specific organisations to introduce RYALT and offer our information and resources.
✅ Record call details in an Excel spreadsheet and feedback.
✅ Use an internet-based calling app (VOIP) – no cost to you!
✅ Receive full training and ongoing support from our Contact Centre Team Leader.
✅Keep in regular contact and update the Team Leader with your progress and feedback.
This is a fantastic opportunity to volunteer from home, develop communication skills, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. If you love chatting with new people, confident in calling and want to support a great cause, we’d love to have you on board!
✔️ No call centre experience required – we’ll train you!
✔️ A warm, friendly, and confident phone manner.
✔️ Clear spoken English and good pronunciation.
✔️ Reliable and committed, with a drive to see tasks through.
✔️ Basic Excel skills (just enough to enter call details into a worksheet).
✔️Could be short term for 3 months and the ability to train into other Contact Centre roles like E-Reception or Interview Expert.
Availability for 2-4 hours per week during business hours.
