We are an organization which helps our local community in many different aspects. The Pelorus Area Health Trust is staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers who are constantly working in the Pelorus Area on the communities' behalf to improve access to primary medical care and to support local groups/communities in the development of their health and well-being within their own areas. PAHT also try to support any initiatives where possible that fall within the criteria of fostering health and well-being within the Pelorus area.
We need people to help us with some of the 'behind the scenes' roles, such as: gardening, maintenance, odd jobs, baking, washing, ironing and mending clothes, sorting, pricing, moving things from one shop to another, making soup, making preserves, fixing broken things, cleaning, making cups of tea and listening to people.
If you are able to help us out for a few hours a week and love variety, we would love to hear from you.
A positive can-do attitude.
Regular availability.
Kindness.
You can do a morning shift, and afternoon shift, or an all day shift. There are also some things that you could do some work from home. Come into our Community Lounge when it suits you to do a few hours. We are flexible.
The hours can be up to you, but we do need someone who can commit to coming in regularly- not just a one off, or once a month.
Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below.
