Help ensure tracks are clear of debris, trim pathways, and keep signage clean.
Experience with chainsaws would be an advantage (an up-to-date chainsaw handling course will be offered), and responsibilities will also include checking fence lines and re-shingling pathways.
Working with our amazing maintenance volunteers to help with any jobs you are interested in:
Tool maintenance,
Building benches and seats,
Shed maintenance,
Fixing broken or damaged tracks,
Mowing lawns,
Spraying weeds along the pest-proof fence,
Helping at working bees.
Needs to be physically fit, have some landscaping, gardening or building skills.
We try and get a small team to work together to make it a bit more sociable and to arrange transport out to Kaipūpū.
Variable - maybe one morning/week - depending on the time of year and the weather and the work requirements at the time.
