We're looking for someone with a proven ability to write for publication. You will interview volunteers and their managers and write stories of 200-700 words which we may use in a "Press" feature, in our Newsletter, and on social media. We can provide initial contacts. Volunteer Marlborough reserves the right to edit anything you've written. Acknowledgement of you as author will not always be possible. You will need to use your own computer. Ability to take accompanying photographs would be an advantage. There is a possibility of becoming part of our Promotional Working Group if you wish.
Location: write and submit from anywhere but small amounts of travel may be required to meet with interviewees.
Creativity & excellent communication skills. Proven ability to write for publication. An understanding of privacy.
No more than 10 hours per month, likely far less.
