We collect native seeds locally and grow these so they can be planted out onto Kaipupu Sanctuary and can also be available for sale in the local community.

Tasks include; sowing seeds, potting up seedlings, weeding in the nursery and watering.

This is based in Picton.
Helping in the native nursery is gentle and no walking or physical work is required.
We can teach you about gardening and looking after plants.

Time commitment:

We meet for one hour in the nursery every Friday afternoon, you can also come down at other times / days to suit your availability.
