Are you interested in visual presentation? Or like using tools and building things? We're in need of handy people who would like to get involved with changing displays around, building new displays, and shifting stuff around the museum. We're planning on changing one area in the building on a monthly basis.
We need people who have practical skills with hammers and drills, and the like, who can think laterally and visually, and who are able to collaborate with others in creating new displays (with not a lot of money to make them). Some strength would be good, to help shift display cabinets about, and the ability to take some direction would be useful. Sense of humour essential!
✅ Volunteers will need to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 for this role.
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
How much time can you give us? We probably need two or three days each month, but there's plenty more work available if you've got the time and inclination.
