We offer free, confidential advice and guidance on any aspect of your business, or your business idea. Our well-qualified Client Advisor will provide information and advice to help your business succeed. So, whether you are wanting to start a business or to grow your business, remember that you do NOT have to go it alone. Support is available. Business Mentors We also act as the Mentor Manager for Business Mentors NZ which is a nationwide network of volunteer business mentors. Locally we have a pool of over 55 very talented, experienced mentors who regularly volunteer their time to assist new and existing businesses. Prior to becoming a mentor all applicants are screened and interviewed. They also are required to attend an Accreditation Training Day and sign a Mentor Agreement Contract which covers potential issues such as conflicts of interest or confidentiality. Business Mentor Programmes: Mentor Programme: which is 12 months of confidential one-on-one advice for owners of small and medium-sized businesses that are currently trading and who want to grow or need help to solve specific business challenges. Community Mentors: is for not for profit organisations, social enterprise groups, charities (both registered and un-registered) and NGOs based in New Zealand.
