Blenheim Riverside Railway
The Blenheim Riverside Railway Society Inc is a narrow gauge railway (24 inches) in Blenheim, New Zealand. The railway traverses along the picturesque Taylor River and meanders its way through the middle of the town. On this fantastic journey, the public gets an insight to the changing landscapes and while crossing streams and the Taylor River, one gets an understanding of the history and diversity of the town of Blenheim. The Blenheim Riverside Railway is operated by a dedicated team of volunteers, who can be seen throughout the week maintaining the track and on running days, presenting, promoting and running a very professional railway experience, for the public. The Society has members from all walks of life, from students, teachers, tradespeople and retired members with trades that allow the railway to continue to run without interruption, due to their dedication and trade qualifications.
