Volunteer Marlborough, in partnership with Marlborough District Council, hosts the annual Volunteer Community Awards - this is our chance to recognise volunteer groups making a valuable contribution in the community, and collaborating or partnering with other groups for the same benefit. And now we have added the Volunteer of the Year Awards!
Why nominate?
Volunteer Marlborough's Volunteer Community Awards are a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together to recognise the contribution and achievements of outstanding volunteers and organisations.
The Community Awards recognise local community groups and organisations making valuable contributions in the community, and collaborating or partnering with other groups for the same benefit.
The Volunteer of the Year Awards recognise outstanding efforts and achievements by volunteers of all ages, in all sectors.
Who can you nominate?
Community Awards - Any not-for-profit group or organisation working in the interests of the community may be nominated. The awards recognise past and current achievements, acknowledging the role of volunteers in the governance and delivery of services.
Volunteer of the Year Awards - Any individual, team, or business group who has done volunteer work for your organisation, group, or project.
Who can make a nomination?
Any community organisation, group, or project in the region can nominate - you do not need to be a member of Volunteer Marlborough.
Schools and churches may also nominate volunteers for the Volunteer of the Year Awards.
