The Volunteer Marlborough team extends a warm and enthusiastic welcome to the recently appointed Minister for the Community & Voluntary Sector; Diversity, Inclusion & Ethnic Communities; and Youth.
The Honourable Priyanca Radhakrishnan has lived and worked overseas as well as here in Aotearoa New Zealand. She has a Master of Development Studies and has previously worked as a policy advisor to a former Labour MP. She will also serve as Associate Minister for Social Development & Employment.
Ms. Radhakrishnan has spent time working with diverse communities across the country and believes that decision making should be community led and lead to better outcomes for everyone.
We look forward to working with Ms. Radhakrishnan in our continuing work toward building resilient communities, supporting community organisations, and providing pathways to employment and skill building for all.
