Volunteer Marlborough is an independent volunteer centre committed to promoting volunteerism and to assisting the people of Marlborough to find opportunities to become involved as volunteers.
We have recently created the Youth Advisory Committe (YAC) which will be dedicated to inspiring, empowering, and transforming the lives of youth in Marlborough region through volunteerism....but we need your help!
We are currently accepting applications for the 2021-2022 Youth Advisory Committee. The YAC will form part of a broader youth engagement strategy which will seek to encourage a youth relationship by providing a voice to young people in shaping Volunteer Marlborough's programmes and initiatives, while facilitating greater input and involvement by youth.
The committee will also collaborate with the larger Volunteer Marlborough team on events, programmes, and other initiatives, thereby increasing the organisation's awareness of youth engagement.
If you're keen to help shape the future for the youth within the Marlborough volunteering community, this is your chance to make your voice heard! Make a difference for your peers, learn and practice leadership and planning skills, contribute to valuable community discussions, and meet new people. It looks amazing on your CV....and we will even feed you!
