LIFT is a network for anyone who leads, coordinates, or supports volunteers in Marlborough. It is a space to connect, share ideas, strengthen practice, and build capability in volunteer leadership.

The heart of the network remains the same:

Practical learning
Peer support
Guest speakers
Shared problem solving
Strengthening volunteer-led organisations

Our May session will focus on meaningful volunteer recognition on a shoestring. With National Volunteer Week coming up in June, now is a great time to start thinking about how we can show our volunteers how much we appreciate them, but not worry about spending a fortune to do it!

We will:

• Share low-cost or no-cost volunteer recognition ideas
• Explore creative, meaningful ways to show appreciation beyond formal events
• Encourage peer-to-peer sharing of successful recognition practices

This will be interactive and action-oriented!
