Native Forest Planters

Hi, we have a massive job from the 13th of May till the 22nd of June. The planting will be on a flat paddock, just minutes from town. We invite everyone who is willing to come and help out. Even though the paddock is only 4000 square metres we are going to plant 6000 plants (this year, more to come next year) to create a very dense and save sanctuary for geckos and skinks.
A short visit to Koru Native Wildlife Centre is included on the organized planting days, and so is a lovely muffin with the morning or afternoon break!

Requirements:

A great attitude and a love for nature! If you can do only light manual work, you are more than welcome too. We will find something to do.
Please let us know if you can help as soon as possible, as the planning has started for this massive planting project. Look forward hearing from you!

Time commitment:

There will be organized days during the weekend but there are also opportunities during the week. Morning programme is from 9am to 12pm (unless arranged otherwise) or from 1pm till 4pm.
