Operations Team Member

The main role is receiving phone calls and emails as they come in; whether they be enquiries from prospective or existing passengers, or members of the public. The next step is to action the calls by organizing transport and drivers as required, recording those actions and updating the database. Laptop and cellphone will be provided for portability between ops team members.

Within the role you will need to:
● Have clear phone manner
● Basic computer skills - training will be provided on specific systems
● Keep senior ops team members informed of any issues that may arise
● Liaise with senior ops team regarding appointment of new driver volunteers

Requirements:

For this role you will need to be a people person, have empathy for our callers, and have a calm and confident manner.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

This role would suit a retired person, someone who may be housebound, or someone who isn't currently working as calls can come at any time.

Time required may vary from day to day dependent on the needs of the community. Role could potentially be shared on a roster system between ops team members.
