Animal Care Attendants

Location:
Blenheim
Organisation:
Marlborough Four Paws
Category:
Animal Care
Hours:
Both/Flexible

Marlborough Four Paws was established in 2017 with the goal of providing welfare to animals in need. With the support of our dedicated community, we aim to reduce animal suffering, protect local bird life and mitigate the spread of animal disease by preventing the birth of unwanted litters of puppies and kittens. We do this by rescuing, desexing and rehoming unwanted, abandoned and stray cats and kittens. We also offer subsidized desexing for eligible pet owners.

Marlborough Four Paws is run entirely by volunteers and we rely on donations from our generous local community to continue the work we do. Being volunteer run we are so grateful for their time and commitment and the time has come that we need a hand with some more volunteers to help out with cleaning the enclosures and cuddling the kittens and cats.

This role includes:
Replacing kitty litter in trays
Topping up food and water bowls
Wellness checks on the cats and kittens to make sure they are all ok
Sweeping and mopping the floors
Ensuring the store room is stoked
Enrichment- giving the cats and kittens pats, cuddle, talking to them and treats.

Not only do you get to help out a fabulous Marlborough organisation who does so much for the community themselves, you get to fill your own bucket with enriching the animals and your own lives.

Families, pairs and groups are most welcome!
