Floral Arrangement

Creative Kids Trust
Art & Craft

Creative Kids Trust is a Marlborough-based not-for-profit providing creative arts programmes for children, youth and the wider whanau to facilitate growth and establish a healthy sense of self. Our aim is to unite a community at its roots and live a culture that recognises and acts on inclusiveness, diversity and respect.

We are looking for someone to prepare a flower or nature arrangement for our Artistic Therapist once a week to use in therapeutic sessions in schools across Marlborough. This could include flowers, foilage, pine cones - any piece of nature that can be used as a centre piece within an art wellness session, the volunteer will need to source the materials from their garden or elsewhere. Our Artistic therapist will be able to provide further guidance on requirements.

This role would greatly benefit the Creative Kids Trust, by allowing our Artistic Therapist to concentrate on the planning and preparation of the wellness workshops for children and is a great way for a community member to support our work within local schools.

No experience needed, and no age restrictions. Volunteer does not need to be vaccinated.

An enthusiasm or interest in nature/art would be an advantage.
