Minutes Secretary

Duties include:
Attend at monthly committee meetings (Tuesdays 2 pm and occasional 3.30 pm start) for approx. 1 hour to record meeting minutes.
Complete minutes and send to committee prior to next meeting- access to a computer and email will be required- (30 mins per month)
Liaise with Administrator to compile agenda and send to committee along with previous minutes week prior to next meeting (15 mins per month).
Meetings are held at 22 Queen Street, Blenheim

Your assistance will enable our nurse/administrator to have extra time to focus on supporting the people in our community who access our services. Our current committee will support you in this role.
We would love it if you have an interest in lung (respiratory) health but this is not a prerequisite for the role. Our committee is passionate about achieving better lung health outcomes for those with respiratory conditions. You would be joining a friendly and supportive team.

Requirements:

Typing and basic admin skills
Confidentiality is a key requirement as occasionally clients names will be mentioned in relation to activities
As we are a registered Charity you will be required to verify that you meet the requirements of a committee delegate
This role is not suitable for anyone under age 16 years

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
