Administrator

We are looking for one or two admin assistants to help with any or all of the following (YOU DECIDE how much you do):
➜ Assisting the Board with writing Health & Safety policies for Trusts Entity (see also: https://volunteermarlborough.org.nz/volunteer/positions/1265/health-safety-officer)
➜ Emailing stake holders and responding to their queries
➜ Networking with other agencies
➜ Approach businesses for food donations
➜ Assist with event management (we are open to splitting this role up so if you are interested in purely event management, please let us know)
➜ Making bookings
➜ Responding to phone calls and emails
➜ Typing other documents as required

As Te Awa Pounamu is still starting up, YOU decide how much time you can commit each week; there is no expectation for one volunteer to take on the entire workload. Do you know someone else who would be a good fit for this role? Maybe you can job-share.

Requirements:

Should have:

➜ Administrative writing and typing skills
➜ Reporting skills
➜ Professionalism
➜ Problem solving ability
➜ Supply management skills
➜ Inventory control skills/experience
➜ Knowledge of office administration procedures
➜ Communication skills (telephone)
➜ Ability and willingness to work as part of a team

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Two to three hours per day for as many days as you can fit around your other commitments. (YOU DECIDE how much you do)
