We are looking for camp hosts at Rarangi Beach and Ōhinemahuta/Onamalutu (listed separately: https://bit.ly/volOhine) campsites to provide some extra coverage for Department of Conservation (DOC) staff during the busy season. Positions are available for a one week slot or up to four weeks camp hosting.
Tasks include information sharing to visitors, encouraging visitors to pay fees, checking in, radio communication, and cleaning toilets and facilities.
Duties take about three to four hours per day. The rest of the day is your to spend however you like.
Select which week(s) from 4 Dec 2020 - 12 Apr 2021.
You will have a free campsite for your tent or campervan.

No previous experience required. All you need is a tent, campervan, or similar, and the ability to stay overnight for at least one week.
3 - 4 hours/day
for 1 - 4 weeks during December, January, February, March, or the first two weeks of April.
