Volunteer Coordinator (and/or Fundraising Coordinator)

Are you an outgoing people person? Do you enjoy organising and coordinating events? Would you like to volunteer from home in a flexible role with no strict schedule? This is the role for you!

We're looking for an outgoing and organised person to recruit and organise volunteers, building a reliable volunteer base for our COPD support group, other education and support initiatives, and fundraising events. The Volunteer Coordinator would also organise volunteer acknowledgement (thank you cards, group social outings, etc), and liaise with other community groups (e.g. Greypower, Age Concern, Volunteer Marlborough, and other health-focused organisations) as needed.
We are also seeking someone to organise fundraising events. Ideally, this would be a role taken on by the Volunteer Coordinator but we are flexible and would consider splitting these roles if you only have experience or time for one.

If possible, the Volunteer Coordinator will contribute to Asthma Marlborough's social media and newsletter.

With no strict schedule, this is a great role if you need flexibility; work around your child's nap schedule, your study, or paid job!
This role can be done from home part of the time but some time will need to be spent on site.

Volunteers interested in this role will need to be organised, personable, and passionate about volunteerism. Previous experience in an admin role and/or in the healthcare sector will be advantageous.
