Asthma Marlborough is seeking committee members and/or fundraising helpers. As a committee member, you would help this non-profit organisation to achieve its goal of improving and maintaining the respiratory health of people in Marlborough by setting strategic direction, overseeing spending of resources, and/or assisting with planning fundraising events. Committee meetings are held once per month on a Tuesday afternoon. Committee members will need to set aside a small amount of time during the rest of the month for reviewing of documents. Depending on your role in the committee, there may be responsibilities that will require additional time commitments.
Ideal volunteers will be committed, organised, and willing to take on a task. Fundraising skills or experience with funding applications will be particularly useful.
Previous board/committee experience is an advantage but not a strict requirement.
Experience with or knowledge of asthma and other respiratory conditions, or experience working in the health sector will also be highly valued.

Volunteers interested in joining the committee should be aged 18 or older.
